Help Car Wont Start

I found out where the oil leak was coming from ..(The sending unit) i changed it out put new one on pluged harness back on and now car dont want to start I figured it was the harness rubber plugin (f) so i went to a junkyard to get one off the same car as mine came home spliced connectors put wires together using plastic connector and i thought ok now its going to start, but still wont start it cranks but not start Can some one help i know it has to do with safty fuel cutoff switch PLEASE HELP! :(

Safety Fuel shut off Switch anyone know where it's located? How do you reset is it a button? I understand when u disconnect the oil pressure switch or lose oil pressure the car loses fuel pressure by shuting off the fuel pump anyone know where the switch is to reset? Any help is appreciated,thanks

Try removing the positive battery cable for about 10 seconds. If this is caused by a saftey measure the computer is most likely the culprit. Removing the cable will clear out all the hard codes stored in the ecu.

If you fuel pump relay is bad, then the engine will be able to start by cranking the engine at least three times and allows the engine oil pressure to build up. The fuel pump is also controlled by oil pressure as secondary back up in case the fuel pump relay is bad.

Looks like your oil sender unit might be bad or not working properly and your car is not starting. Try getting a known working relay and replace the fuel pump relay and test it.
