Wow much louder under load, better throttle response, SOTP dyno almost nil. Looks good, easy to service and some performance to boot.

looks sweet.

How long did it take you?
and, how long you think it would take to put old one back on?
Would a service tech know that something fishy was going on, besides the clean air filter?

I really want one of these, but I'm worried about getting the car serviced, and infiniti saying my warranty is voided.

just curious...where did you put that little sensor that was plugged into one of your resonator pipings?

I had a conversation yesterday with my service writer and told him I intended to install the filter a header and cat back and possibly cams, his only comment was to make him aware of the changes if in fact it had to be serviced. The dealership I purchased from sells and installs Stillen products and Eibach's. I had the same experience with my Vette, an intake will NOT in any way shape or form damage your engine unless you dirve through a lake and suck water through a cold air kit.

It took about a half of an hour at a slow pace, about the same to reverse it, probably less. I relocated the temp. sensor on the fender about two inches away from the cone, it is NOT in the airstream. I will ask JWT if this is an issue. I was to lazy to cut the wiring conduit to move it any closer.

well i did a little playing around with my intake and noticed that when the sensor wasn't in the air stream, my rpm's dropped a lot faster, to me this didn't feel right so i put it back in the air stream.

I have some pics that'll i'll post up whenever i get them developed..they're pics of my own custom intake mods...fairly simple...probably little to no hp gains but definitely some audible gains haha lol :D and the best thing is, is that it looks stock :D eventually i'll get a jwt pop-charger though ;)

just curious, how much did the intake cost you? and how long did it take to get shipped to you? my bro would like to put one on his 2002 G20 sport package 5 speed. and, as far as the whole warranty issue, an intake will not void your warranty unless you hydro lock it, or dont hook up a sensor properly.

thanks in advance

I just purchased a JWT pop, paid 129, shipping included and it took 10 days to arrive at my east coast location. The install was quick and easy though I havn't removed the resonator yet. My question is, exactly where and how do I relocate the sensor once I remove all the useless plastic. Thanks.

thanks for the info,
129 does not seem bad.

thanks

Where did you put the air sensor that is imbedded on the side of the stock air box?
