Short in turn signals

Blew the turn signal fuse today. Hmm... Last week I had a new battery installed. Sure enough there was a small harness pinched between the battery and the tray. I removed this and managed to get the rear turn signal working again. There were 4 wires in this harness, I just plan on splicing the bad wire and calling it a day. I don't want to take it back to the people that screwed it up in the first place. They only do batteries and tires and probably would make things worse. :disappoin Anyone have a clue as to which wire does what? There is very limited room to work in, and I don't want to cut every wire. There is a heavier guage black wire and red wire as well as a lighter guage black wire, and a light guage black wire with a white stripe. Does anyone know which wires affect the passenger front turn signal? This is the small harness passing directly behind the bottom of the battery passing through the fender behind the winshield solvent resovior.
