Installing Custom Fenders! Help!

Hi - I baught some custom Z3 fenders made of fiberglass for my '93 Prelude. A buddy of mine who knows the basics of how to do this is going to be working on it for me (he works on cars - but usually engine type work). I have full confidence in him - but he asked me, if I could, to find any pointers, or instructions on installing the fenders. Right now he has them on the car... just setting on it to see what all needs to be done to make them work. They need sanded down in areas, and definitely need to be made to fit. Holes also need to be drilled still. Does anyone have any tips, cautions, or instructional info on how he should go about fitting them? Like, what to do to avoid breaking or cracking, how to get them to fit best, etc? Any info is extremely appreciated! And i'm sure others doing this same mod would find this info helpful as well! Thanks!
-Chris

First off, cover up your door and the side skirt if you have it. Tape towels to it or something because positioning will most likely scratch it. As for holes and fitment, get a big piece of cardboard, hold it over the OEM fender, and punch holes where the holes are on it. Then take the cardboard cut-out, hold it up to the Z3 one, and mark where they are, then drill it. Or just keep it stock. Looks better that way. cardomain.com/ride/3099616

What do you think? That's mine :]
