oil again

I really don’t want to open another can of worms, just wanted to find out for myself
My 2001 Mazda MPV has 5W20 for recommended oil. Does the fact that I live in So California and tempreratures are higher then 60F most of the time allows me to use 5W30 or 10W30 oil instead? Thanks

Any of those are fine.

the factory recommend certain oils for a reasons they have spent the big bucks in reserch. the clearences in todays engine are alot closer now use the 5W20 every 3-5k miles and youll be fine ive seen 2001 mpvs with over 190k miles
