well, i'd be lying if i said i liked the car, but the drawing is sweeeeet!! I love your unique style.
I don' really have anything to critisize, except the ellipses and tires look a little off(i have that problem too), and i think a little more blending in the interior would look better IMO.
A couple questions: did you "mirror image" the car yourself, or on computer? and what size paper?
Great work
Alex

looks very good.
very nice job on the front rim but i think the shading in the interior and the shadow on the left side of the car should be blended
the whole car is very well done

very nice. excellent.
now for the nit-picking: passngr. side headlights not as developed as driver's side. why?
reflections on side of body are excellent. reflections of hood and windscreen are non-existent and/or weak. why?
you're missing a front blinker/fog light. why?
front rim is excellent. just rocks the house. but the rubber tire it's wrapped in is f*(cked up. big ol flat spot and deformity going on -why?
dash and steering wheel are not developed. look like afterthoughts almost like kartoon. you fully commited to detailed realism. you faltered with interior. so whussup? why?
overall car is solidly developed tonally. but car's shadow is like half-baked. ragged-rendered or something. why?
in general, you are really good. work on your rendering accuracy a bit more and you will be on a pretty high horse.
but you're not yet. i'm picking on you in this case because you are really talented.

ilov2x, i understand this to a point: you rendered the rims incredibly well. i am impressed by that and you win "points." you have the proportions and perspective nailed. impressive. you took time to do these. even if you were "fast." what baffles me is that the interior and relflections take far less time to do than what you went through to achieve the overall accuracy of the rendering, especially the rims. moreover, if you can achieve the incredible results of the rims, particularly the difficult multi-spoked, multi-facted rim face designs of that beemer, why did you flub something as simple as the steering wheel even if it you drew it fast?
so what is the deal --that is my point. it is like you rented an expensive tuxedo for the wedding and you show up wearing beat up converse high-tops on your feet. i don't get it.
and al, it is my pleasure, btw, to give help. it is fun, and if someone is helped in the process than i have only contributed to the community of the "few" who actually have aspirations to draw. if not only for the enjoyment of it.
i can tell you, not many people actually pursue what we are doing here. most people who *can* draw give up because they must pursue something more "real." yet drawing is one of the most real things anyone can do, as it can be a window to one's soul.
anyway, ilov2x, you are very much on the right track. i'm just raising the bar for you because i see it within you to do stellar work.

ok...1st, he explained w/ like 2 pics why the lil fog lamp/mesh thing wasnt there...its made like that in real life...2nd, 5hrs is kind of a long time but it can also be a rush job...for this kinda detail...5 hrs is fast! lol, 3rd, i kinda like it as is, looks conceptish...and i know we all love concept drawings w/ how detailed yet still undetailed and imperfect they are...4th, eveyone brings forth good points and good constructive criticism so im not trying to down anybody for their advice to ilov2xlr8, you need a little work on realism...very little though, lol...but heck who doesnt?
great job on the drawing yo, you've even got a guy who doesnt like bimmers complimenting you, awesome talent. rock on man.

yeah. i don't care for bimmers, either, but this guy is on the right track. in a way, his drawing is more interesting than the actual car, as the rendering has a good sense of emerging style. and there is more to look at than just the car - we can look at the drawing's nuances and techniques at work, frozen in the moment of the page.

Cool drawing. Nice rim! Specially the way the wheel is turned.
Just nitpicking: the left front light: the corners don't have the corners as the example photo has. Your image has a more round-like corner than the real has.
But: keep up this good work!
