Live For SPeed-Excellent online drifting game!

Just curious as to if anybody else plays this game.It's a kick ass simulation racing game where u can play with most of the settings for suspension,toe in,camber,damper...etc.....

Hell, you can even adjust your tyre pressure.

it wont work for me, i downloaded the file, but it says something about it not being in the hard drive

you don't need to install it, just go in and click LFS.exe and it should work.

ya i got it werkin, its super fun, everyone must donwload this its great, even just the demo is fun but im buying the full version today, download it and i'll make a game just im me on aol it'll b fun

I just recently got this game. only game I found that works with my act-labs clutch petal setup. Love this game.
really wish there was a full sized MR car in it though.. like an Mr2 :P

A WHAT! can you give me a website or something were you got that clutch pedal and steering wheel setup, i've been looking for one for ages! either that or the steering wheel with seperate shift nob and handbrake lever.

Which is why I hook up 2 steering wheels at one and use one set for Gas/Brake and the other for Clutch/Handbrake.

Tips for drifting, well first learn to when to counter steer with the stock settings.If you visit the Live for speed forum off the site, you can find some really good setups for drift.It's all about timing when you come up to a corner.You have to learn were to brake and downshift to start a good controled drift and take it with throttle control till the end of the corner an upshift.

Took me bout a week before i could drift with the XR GT.Then i unlocked the GT turbo.That thing is sliding like crazy.There are even ways you can add different blow off valve sounds or car skins for online racing.I have D1 ueo's skin an use a GTR skin.

thanx but i give up on that game now.i cant get around without smashing or screwing up somthing major.back to GT3 to try and finish it.

learn correct timing when entering and exiting a turn, get or make a good setup, i've got a couple and i ave one i luv and its great, if you ever find me playing just ask i'll send you all of them, myn name on that game is gigglesnirt (surprise surprise)

i have it on my laptop to, i just use the arrow keys when i'm not at home to play

When u unlock the Turbo GT then you will start seeing good drifts performed by yourself.All about control my friend.

God speed on your search. I got mine JUST before they discontinued them. Matter of fact I even orderd the shifter but I was just intime for it to be discontinued aswell. :( I will be keeping an eye on ebay for one.
Oh and the petal setup kicks ASS!! I would recommend dl'ing that setup program asap even if you dont have the petals yet. It is a handy program but I dont know how long it will remain on the site. :(
