well lets see.. both cars are from toyota.. one is based kinda on the camry.. and one is kinda based on the corolla.. which would you guys pick? and why? im really stumped between these two.. both seem like pretty nice cars.. i still haven't gone down to wonderies toyota to look at the tC they have there.. but i've seen/driven a few matrix's.. they seem pretty nice.. not much different from the corolla except more space.. as for the tC so far i know its faster than the matrix.. it'll eat 22mpg vs the 29mpg of the matrix.. and its a sporty coupe.. kinda like the rsx.. so yea once again which would you buy and why? dont just pick the tC because its faster.. thx

I'd go with the tC. If Toyota would offer the 170-hp engine with all-wheel-drive, I'd take the Matrix, but the tC looks like a better buy at the moment. I know you said not to pick the tC because it's faster, but honestly, that's why I would personally pick it.

Only one I've ever driven is an old 1993 Celica All-Trac Turbo. It seemed to understeer a lot more than, say, an Evo, but it's a 10-year old system, so that's not exactly a fair comparison. I'm curious to see how the AWD Matrix drives now... :P
