K guys, I have a 94 civic LX. It's an automatic, and I want to make it a sleeper. I want decent upgrades but I don't want to go over the edge. I need help on exactly what to get so I can turbo charge it and where to buy it.
I have no knowledge about having an automatic car that's turbo. It's a 1994 Honda Civic LX, almost completely stock - besides short-ram intake, and aftermarket deck and subs haha. So I need help.
I want to turbocharge it, but keep it automatic - I want something auto and turbo, is that possible ?? HELP ME OUT PLZ! THANKS

yes you can swap out the dead D16 and install the b16. its a bit of a chore to swap to manual though if you want to do that. as for a turboing your d16, i would think to find a fast spoiling turbo cuz with the auto its gonna be hard to run a turbo with huge lage on a auto. auto tend not to rev too high. as for making it happen. you will need for basic stuff without going over the top too much. turbo, manifold, fpr (some think a rising rate fpr would be best, i dont have an opinion on them yet), downpipe, charge piping, suggest some type of BOV, and intercooler, and some other stuff like oil return line. check out homemadeturbo.com for a cheap way to turbo that motor. good luck

good call. i didnt notice it was a 94 lx, for some reason i thought he was talking about a 96+, hence the d16 ideas. best bet would be to swap it yeah. even a d16z6 would drop in there and go nicely witha turbo.

i wouldnt recommend turboing an auto...hell my boy tried to spray and automatic and it wasnt that great...best bet is to man up to the challenge of driving a stick and work from there...itll run better plus its more fun to drive

I know how to drive stick, but I bought the car from my friend - I wanted to get it off his hands.
Can I swap a b18 from a 91 accord into my car? With the tranny also?
