Hey guys
I am getting a yokomo drift 180sx for my b-day/xmas and my dad is a construction worker and he said he would make a asphalt rc track in our back yard for me so i can race my car, play hockey and other stuff on it. ive seen many tracks that have barriers and things but they looked like they were molded into the asphalt. i was wondering of a way to make some plastic type barriers that dont stick straight up off the ground but so if the car hit them it would just jump over it. i would be willing to buy these if they have something like them too. also the surface will be about 30'x50'.
Thanks,
Josh

pvc piping, but that can wreck your cars body but if you dont care about the looks of your car go for it, try some foam padding type stuff, that you would rap around a roll cage in a go kart, if you can get long enough peices that would werk

Oh i see what you mean. Take a look at this. And make a notch in the road corner to go into the pipe. http://www.driftrcentral.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=94

Put elbows or caps on the ends.

Well i thought over the pvc idea and the foam so what i might do is wrap foam around the pvc and cut it how i want it.

Sounds good as long as you soak them in kerosene then light 'em up. Chaos rules...
