2003 Camry Rear Seat removal?

How do you remove the rear seat cushion in a 2003 Camry LE? I merely need to feed a couple of wires from the console to the trunk area, and can seem to release the cushion.

I know how rear seat cushions are typically removed - push rearward to disengage the 2 clips, then lift up. However, I can't seem to do that in this car. Is there another method used? Or maybe I'm just not pushing hard enough?
