I think its that way on the full size car - sort of on the passenger side and at an angle - presumably so it's not in the drivers eyeline

Hey,
I was going through the box of this model and came across the chrome foil. What is it supposed to be for in this kit? Nice job btw. Thanks,
Frank X.

Very cool build. I just wish fujimi would make the top eight 2003 D1 cars. This would look killer in a street version Andy, with engine detail.

Didn't need to lower it as that's the ride height in the kit

In the end I ended up using the rims from the Tamiya R34 with lips & tyres from Aoshima Junction Scara's - not entirely accurate I know but the kit supplied rims looked a little small IMO.

The instructions suggest using the foil for the area where the rear lights go to suggest the relective surface behind the lenses - I painted the rear light lenses clear red & orange and then applied the foil to the back of the lights and not to the body but the effects much the same.

BTW thanks for all the feedback
Cheers

Very nice.. I wonder.. if someone can make a model that resembles the actual model so much you would mistaken it for being the real thing? What I'm trying to say is that it's an excellent job and you should keep up the good work.
