My daughter has a 2001 cavalier. This car continues to leak water/coolant. We have replaced the water pump and thermostat.
I have noticed a small tube the comes from the fire wall. It appear to be perhaps part of the problem as it has a steady drip. any thought would be appreciated. (We have been doing most of our own repairs.)

Most of the newer cars have a drain that removes coolant when the heater core goes bad. It is possible that this is where the coolant is coming from, check the heater core to see if it is leaking I would suspect that you will find that it needs to be replaced.

That would have been my next guess. Thanks for help. This is a great site.
Thanks again,
