hey i just baught a 95 gst.. its all stock except for the upgraded turbo.. pretty sure he said big 16g .. the first things i plan on doing is lettin the engine breathe by changing the exhaust.. getting an intake and gettin an after market bov

im thinking of getting

apex n1 exhaust system
blitz bov
not sure about the intake any suggestions...

is there any thing else that i need to modify.. do i need a new downpipe??

any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance.

(Ps. i have searched just incase anyone wants to recomend this..)

if there is a big 16g in it... there aught' to be a few mods done to it

you dont upgrade the turbo like that without other mods.

first mods are definitly intake and exhaust. with a turbo, any HIGH flowing exhaust will work well(hit the pipe with a hammer till it falls off :D )

watch out on what intake you buy(dont get an Autozone special, your turbo needs to breathe)

after that... BOV, boost controller, turbotimer

that should keep you busy long enough to burn all your money :D

the first mod for ur car should a good boost gauge... remember a good after market boost gauge... then here is the link for u to get approximately 300hp and it is in order.. just read it and ask questions if u have

http://www.dsmtuner.com/tuning-guide/2gturbo/stage1power.php

if u want to do suspension mods.. here is the link

http://www.dsmtuner.com/tuning-guide/2gturbo/suspension.php

before all this set a goal (thats wat the wisemen over here will ask u before they give u sugestions) and also for the bov u are are better of buying a used 1g bov.. it is been proved that is as good as other aftermarket bov :)

hope this helps u :D

i wouldnt doubt he has a 16g but just running stock boost or a little over... seeing dyno's usually read in WHP so if thats the case his crank hp is probably around 270-280 crank hp compared to the stock 215 crank HP

ahh dyno... didnt pay attn the first time read that.

still think its a too low of hp for a big 16g. usually when people upgrade their turbo, they arlready have a nice mod list goin

i heard alot of people getting the ingen intake... Not sure if its good though, I'm actually looking to get an intake for my car too. Also I'm looking to get an exhaust. Is there any exhaust bigger than 3"? If so, whould it be better to get?

I don't think they make an exhaust bigger than a 3" for our cars... probablay because it would kill torque.

Hell Yeah!!!!!! Home depot Intake!!! I'm actually trying to get them to sponcer the GSX. Think about it, Home Depot decals, good for 15-20 wheel hp :jump3:!!!!! No bigger than 3", But they should because wouldn't that be better for the turbo?
