whats the average gas mileage on a 300zx?

gas prices are a bitch lately...and i kno the 300zx needs 91 octane but on average how much shuold i expect to get to the tank

im talking about 90-96 generation ones

~18/24 city/hwy...not horrible, but not great, either. That gets better as you do mods...if you can stay out of it...:p

You don't buy Zs for the gas mileage.

You sure as hell don't buy twin turbo Zs for the gas mileage.

Although about 24-26 mpg is easy enough on the highway due to the tall rear end.

yes, i agree gas prices are quite high right now, however, i'm sure you guy's aren't paying what i pay right now... i'm paying 106.9 per litre for 92 octane right now.. i worked that out and that's approx $4.04 per gallon.. and you guys thought you had it bad:rolleyes:

Yeah, and gas is about 30 cents cheaper around here then it was a month ago. :D

Which means that by the end of July (optimistic target date to have the Z running again) it should probably be back around 2 dollars or less for premium (as if you would use anything else in a Z) but then with the octance booster...anyway...

i am paying around $2 right now for gas and i get on average 19 mpg.
