lift kit and tires

will 33x12.50 tires fit on my 98 tahoe with a 3 inch body lift? the ppl at pepboys sed they would but im thinkin that there may be some minor rubbin on the fenders is that going to be a major problem to fix if there is rubbin

I have a 98 Tahoe LT 4x4 with a 3" body lift and 33x12.50's on mine and no rubbing. I bought it all like that though, they trimmed the valenance under the bumper but I have no idea why. I dont even come close to scrubbing anywhere.. I tried offroad flexing and no where near close to scrubbing. But certain models have different suspension set ups. Maybe a 2wd wont fit 33's probaly though. Not sure, A 4wd diffenetly will work though. Remember, bigger meat, requires more gas!
