Clock dims

My 94 Altima clock dims when the brake pedal is depressed, but if the lights are on, it does not dim! Any Takers?

I'm sure you checked all your fuses, if not check them first. Check the tail light bulbs, if any of them is not lighting up well, tighten the ground screws on the buld holder, and your ground will be back, and the clock won't dim. I have worked on two nissan problems like this, and they were both tied to either the wrong bulbs in the rear light assembly, or the wiring screws were loose.
