h22 + boost = good or bad?

I've heard that the h22 is a good motor when fully built. Is this true? as I have also heard that it's not a good motor to boost. What makes it a bad motor to boost? I understand that stock it's a bad motor to boost. But if your going to fully build an engine then it's a good motor to boost? If the stock internals suck and you replace them and build for boost is it a good motor?

As long as you sleeve it when you do pistons and rods etc then you'll be golden. My buddy has has his setup for about 2 months and no problems (with the engine itself anyways). And if you get a 92-96 (i might be wrong on the 92 part) but it will have a closed deck so that will be even better.

So the cylinder walls are too thin to boost without sleeving, right? Closed deck? I've seen this used but i do not understand what it is in relation to? What does it mean?

Closed deck mean that there is no space between the sleeves and the rest of the motor.

it is rumored that a block guard or making your block closed deck helps with cylinder ovaling, movement of cylinder walls, cylinder cracking from expanding all that stuff.

but not needed if you block is resleeved

9.5cr pistons with some eagle rods. AEBS Sleeves. Should that set me up for some good boost or would i do some other stuff to the internals while I'm in there? If i wanted to run massive boost on the strip should i go with lower cr pistons? Just trying to figure out internals before i'd go and do anything.

AEBS sleeves are good sleeves. if it were me id go with pauter rods, they are the most expensive but i think they are the best. also i would go with cp pistons, again most expensive but i think htey are the best.

Cams would be a good idea too, but not quite essential as the othe thing listed above.
