inline four or a v-twin

Hi, other than sound, I am interested in the differences between v-twins and inline fours. I know that the v-twins such as superhawks have more torque and that the inline fours have more top-end power with their high revs. I ride a suzuki bandit 600 and am considering selling this bike and buying a v-twin such as a superhawk or a sv1000. i feel that i am ready for an upgrade after this summer and want to know more about these v-twin bikes. I am not really into the high speed thing although all of my friends are, but I do like to pop the occasional wheelie. Are v-twins extremely easy to wheelie on or are they even any easier than an inline four to pop a wheelie and if so, do you do anything different to pop a wheelie with a v-twin. I would also like to know any figures of comparison with horsepower, torque, acceleration rates, and top speed with a v-twin and inline four. Any upgrade that i will make will be to a supersport 600 or a 1000 v-twin, please tell me which one would suit me best if you can by what i have mentioned before in this thread. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to all of your replies.

if your going for anything other than inline 4 and 600cc and above, you should go for TL1000 or VTR1000/Superhawk (with full fairings), etc, or even Ducatis... simply because these are sprotbikes rather than the naked SV1000.
I'd also would've suggested RC51, but I heard from some people that it's the Hayabusa of the V-Twins - not just anyone's ride - you have to get used to her.
You could also look up Interceptor 800, it's a VTEC V-4.

The SV1000S is not completely naked, the thing is a wheelie king and I weigh like 300 pounds 3rd gear wheelies no problem.

It's half-naked, whatever. And you need aftermarket fairings to dress it up. Good bikes though.

The Interceptor is damn near impossible to pull up for wheelies. Granted, it's not entirely impossible, but at about 5-10lbs HEAVIER than a busa, it's not gonna be a #1 pick for someone who wants speed or wheelie ability.

put some NOS on it to give it a lift,
people pull a wheelie on hayabusa all the time, granted it's a lot more powerful than interceptor.
