Okay,
One of my CV joints is knocking on the 89 Prelude si 5spd. It's only a slight knocking when I make right hand turns. Do I have to buy a new one, can it be fixed by taking it apart, cleaning, and such?

take it apart, clean it, put it back together, drive it. if it still knocks, get it fixed quickly.
i let mine slide on my 91 si, and it caused all types of problems.

If it is already knocking replace it. They are cheap enough and easy to replace.

You can find them at Autozone or Orielly's. Call them for prices. They will meet competitors prices.

I would say under $200 for parts.
