well i don't post this stuff very often but i figured id share some kills with you guys. few weeks ago raced a black 1.8t hatchback (gti?) that was pretty new. we kept almost completely even till about 95 then my top end started pulling on him until a truck pulled in front of me...recently had an RSX type-s try to keep up on some windy back roads. he was keeping up for about a second then my crazy side took over (i know my back roads) and he couldnt hack it. even had a newer z28 try to mess with me a few weeks ago, i got a quick jump on him with my auto but he would've destroyed me in the run, it was still funny though i pulled about 50ft. on him before he got any decent speed. i know these arent exactly from a stop, 1/4 mile races but ive surprised some people with this little 305 tpi.

this is a camaro forum, i dont think your impressing us by beating a v6 camaro that wasn't racing, and hardly beating a volkswagon...

never fails, someone always posts something, sometime, that has nothing to do with what they are replying to. first of all a newer z28 isnt a six cylinder car, no sorry. second, im not talking about a rabbit here, im talking about a newer 1.8t that had some mods, effectively putting its 1/4 mile et somewhere between 14.6-14.9 would be my guess, oh see where im goin with this? thats a 305 (with mods of course) that can run close to a stock l98. now i remember why i stopped posting that kinda stuff.

incase you couldn't tell friend, im talking about my 305 tpi z28. i can tell its a camaro forum, which is kinda why i posted here? also, the rsx would beat a six cylinder camaro, and i think that 1.8t with its mods would've beat em both.

bout 2 weeks ago i beat a celeberty with an engine and trans sway just done... it was a 5sp too.. i wooped his ass... then a week ago i raced a brand new 04 maybe an 05(i dunno if the 05s are out yet) civic hatchback si??(the kid said it was an si) 5sp..... i also wooped his ass... this was all in my bronco(the white one)

that reminds me i shoulda mentioned what years too...i like the newer v6 camaros, but the third gens sucked.

i love it when the guys around my town come up and say they ran a 13 at the track. too bad the track is an 1/8th, haha!!!
