new tranny leaking

figures that i would get my car back and tranny would be leaking i don't think its the actual tranny its self i think they just didn't torque down the oil pan enough with one nut or so, i think im gonna put the car up and look at it or just take it back and be like yo fix this shit focker now

i don't rly wanna go back because they will prolly put it off for a few days and i need my car so bah, unless anyone has had this prob with new tranny's and they just leak for a few hundred miles or some shit

more than likely its just something not torqued down, however it could be something a little more serious like they forgot a seal somewhere. i'd take a good look at it and see if you can determine where the leak is coming from. if its from the pan, take it off and inspect the gasket to make sure its not cracked and then re-torque all the bolts to the proper measurement. its really easy to over-torque the pan bolts and split the gasket...

yeah im gonna bring it back on monday and to make things even worse i ran outa gas tonight on my way to go get some lol so then i had to walk there and walk back with a gallon

dude, you suck at life...

hey hey now, be nice. but yeah sounds like they used a air ratchet to put on the pan bolts, and damaged the gasket, tell them in small words, to use a torque wrench, and torque it to specs. and they will be ok.

or mabye he didn't tighten down the drain bolt enough i dunno it seems to only leek when in in neutral and when i turn off the car no sign's of when im driving
