Towing Ability ?

Does anyone use their Aurora for towing? My son and I ride dirt bikes and I recently got rid of my truck. Is pulling two bikes on a small trailer going to hurt my car? I'm sure it is probably close to the 1000lb that it is rated for but would like input from someone who has actually towed with the car before I invest in a hitch and trailer.

It should be fine, but I would invest in an extra tranny cooler just to be safe. Check a local auto parts store to see if they supply a bolt on tranny cooler for an L47 engine (Aurora 4.0) in addition to the stock cooler in your radiator.

And then of course a proper hitch.

*edit* just word of mouth from ppl with similar sized cars (equal power and weight) I have never towed yet

Good point. That would be worth the 50 bucks to add on.
