Left Wheel Hub on 94 Intrepid

Purchased a used 94 Intrepid. Was replacing the brake pads. No problem on the right, but on the left when I removed the calipers, the hub just feel off. I'm a doit yourselfer. Should this have happened, or should there be some kind of lock washer hold it on?

by hub do u mean rotor?
