ok im driving on my favorite hiway
all of a sudden i see a 4 door accord with rims pull up we go and he had me by a car length i pull up to him and said u got anything in there he goes naw
im like i got beat by a honda omg wtf did i do wrong wats a 2004 v6 4door accord run???
we raced again from 65 km roll i smoked him by a little
but i still feel like i got owned wat the hell happend how come i lost
could have been becaus of trac control???
would i have beaten him with a 3.4 on????
and wat does a stock gtp comp g run?? 0-60 and quarter mile
also .............. sleeper jeff can i copy ur mods will u tell me wat u did plz

if your racing from a dead stop with the traction on then that's your excuse, i mean problem. the traction control cuts power to wheel with the least amount of traction. i don't exactly know how long it cuts power though, maybe until the light goes out, if thats the case then its too long, your smoked.

GP's have no topend when stock.
Yes you would have had a much better chance w/ the 3.4.
Stock 04's probably run high 14's to low 15's. Torque management really kills the 04's.

Start w/ a modular pulley system w/ 3.4 pulley.
DHP/INTENSE/CYA pcm would be the next best upgrade for the 04'

Did the honda made any kind of FI sound. Remember the ricers have NOS, Turbos, PCM's and a lot of crap that we are starting to get now. Also if your car is new remember your engine runs a little bit tigther until it has completly broken in. I know that if the Honda had bigger rims then that would not help it because that is adding to the car unsprung mass that would make it harder to drive, harder to accelerate and harder to stop.
Maybe was not your lucky day, my 98 moves really swift on the highway and a Honda like that would not be that harmfull to any of us GP's enthusiasts

i believe the new accords are running 3 liter v6's, but you shouldn't have gotten beat, they only have like 160 hp

The V6 Accord is 240 HP/212 LB FT and has 24 valves...Anybody can be had when they are just cruising and someone comes up from behind out of nowhere already doing like 90 MPH, esp in a car w/ similar power....Do what I do when i see a ricer closing in or trying to zip through traffic to catch up...hit the gas and forget about it.
