diffrences between the KLZE K08 and KO3

Like I know that the K08 can be replaced with the KLZE, which is realitivately a bolt on instalation. ( I know there is more done but pretty much it is) but what is so diffrent between the K08 and K03 besides IM and Displacement. my friend has a MX-6 and when we put our cars together the engines looked the exact same :eek7: . it was kinda creepy. so what's the diffrence between the two, why can't you swap the K03 instead of the KL-ZE?

...who said you cant swap the KL03? It is just as easily done as the KLZE. All 'K' series motors are relatively "interchangeable".

many people swaps de klde (not kl03 people used to call it like that because the number on the engine) ..First because they are easy to find and are better for boost..If you use the klde you would have to use a probe gt vaf/ecu

would the MX-6 V-6 ones work too? But that's why I want the change for the KLDE. I want to add boost!:sunglasse ... well that's the long term.. there is around a 30hp diffrence between the two... and the KLDE costs around half that the KLZE costs.. so for a PO-boy like me I can afford it easier. :iceslolan

mx-6 v6 engine IS a klde so it's a yes

I was wonderin if there was a size or shape or wiring diffrence... oh what is a Vaf?

a VAF is a Vane Air Flow... Its the black thing on your intake that probably reads JE50 on it if you have a K8. As for the size, shape or wiring differences, I would not know well enough to say.
