How do you change the bulbs on the Trailblazer? I've pulled and pulled on the interior lighting covers, but am afraid to pull too hard - surely don't want to break the cover. Is there a trick?
As for the bulbs in the 3rd brake light, how do you change them? Do you need a special tool to pop the lens off?
Thanks!

I brought mine to the dealer, they replaced the 3rd brake light with one that uses LEDs not the tube, they said the factory told them to replace it with the new model.

Yeah, but unless there's a sevice bulletin, the dealer won't do anything unless they can see the part is not working. My TB is a 2002 model and is out of factory warrantee, so they won't do squat with the lights - for free. This is why I want to know how to change them myself.

I see.... You'll have to order the whole housing.

I hardly see why I would need to order the whole housing if a bulb goes bad.
