Front Bumper Question

I own a 98 Civic coupe and recently got in an accident. As a result, I need a new bumper. I was thinking about buying a body kit for my car but will I have to get a new stock bumper for my car or can I just use the one from the kit? Also, if anyone has any suggestions on kits that would be great. Thanx!
