Just be glad you weren't on a bike. You won't believe how motorcycle riders get hit by cars making left turns because "they didn't see him". :(

yeah my neighbors dad just had a similar thing on his bike...4 operations later, and he still isn't doing well. That does suck though...what is the verdict on insurance and such? Did they credit her as the reason the accident happened? I know sometimes the 'right of way' rule isn't as good as gold, and they will argue that it is driving 'manners' not driving rules. For instance the yield to the driver on your right if both meet at a 4way stop sign at the same time. Hope it all works out and your feeling better.
