ok, well i have a 2000 celica gt, and i don't know anything about cars and i wanted to know if anyone knows if it was possiable to swap a 99 mustang engine with it, yeh i know it sounds dumb but i dont know if it is possiable, if anyone knows tell me

Its pretty much not possible. You could do it but it would cost way too much money. For the money it would cost you to do the conversion you could just beef up your engine. Give it a turbo or something.

This guy just finished swaping in a V8 Northstar engine into his MR2. That thing will now haul ass better than any N/A 4 banger.

Yeah so now what is the car? The car will "haul ass" yes, but is the guy still an Import Tuner at heart or is he a sell out? The whole import in a domestic has been done, look at Mazda Autozam (MX3) and Mazda MX6 and the whole Ford Probe thing. I mean they do it, but if you're an import tuner stay a damn import tuner, stay with imported RELIABLE engines..... some 4 BANGERS are also called V8 Killers

Almost all engines are reliable as long as you look after them. I could name a bunch of domestic engines that arent worth shit but I can name just as many import engines that are garbage.

The car is still a Toyota MR2. What he did to his is way more creative than any simple engine swap. He had to custom fabricate many things to get everything to work and he is a true import tuner at heart. He owns more than one MR2 and regularily competes in auto crossing events.
