who hates their integra?

90, ive had it for 4 months.

why do you hate it?? i had an 87 ls POS for almost 4 years, it was a serious pos but i still loved it, and ive had my 95 GSR for 6-7 months and i dont think ill ever hate it

Integras are small, slow, and I hear so much road noise, I may as well have a fvcking convertable. On the freeway I have to yell to talk to anybody in the car. Its not broken, it's just how they are. Another thing, if you get into an accident, you will be lucky to get out alive. Im just so fed up with driving the damn thing, Im about to go nuts. If my summer car was ready, I would be driving that.

my integra could catch on fire, get thrown off a cliff and the wheels fall off and i will still love it. god himself will have to take it from me.:grinyes:

The only thing I hate about mine is shifting... I've been in sooo much traffic lately I feel like ripping out the short shifter and beating myself to death with it.

hopefully there will be a nice new accord in my future in AUTO and I'll save the teg for fun driving.

Its people saying stuff like that that make me glad I got teh steptronic on my car...I mean, after a crappy workout where Im tired as hell and my arms hurt, I dont need to shift, but after a long day at work, I can calick it over, and have some fun.

I just have to get my Blower back for the "good car" and I'll be a happy man again.

i hated mine (in sig), so i bought a 99 cobra instead. he he.

I don't mean to be bashing the integra on an integra board but Im just fed up with it. As soon as the blower comes back, im done with the car.

i love my car, it's a fun little car to drive that i can take around the corners quick and have a good time with, i would be keeping it, however, after pricing out my turbocharging ways, it came to around 13 grand (canadian.. fucking exchange rates) so i decided that it wasn't really worth it in the end, especially on a fwd car.. another reason is that there are soooo many of them, there is absolutely no way to be unique.
so, i regretfully announce that after a few more mods (help resale slightly.. will fix some things that would seriously hurt resale) i will be selling my integra. i knew for my next car it would have to be rear wheel drive, something unique, and something fun to drive.. enter Nissan 300ZXTT.. everything i'm looking for, amazing styling, rwd, 300 hp stock, and a very rare car, i was sold the second i saw one...
anyway.. that's enough of me rambling, peace guys

Well I like mine...14 years and going. I do try to stay out of accidents though....never like to test the car that way and as for being loud never really thought that but duribility is a major plus. But then again those that take car of their cars pretty much no matter who is the Maker they tend to last a while. Hence, never buy a car from a mess of a person, lol. My neighbor has a '92 Integra LS with like 145k miles and she hates that car. It always busts the heater hose in the rear of the engine, and her auto tranny is going rev crazy, she won't do past 70 mph, it vibrates like crazy with noise, and needs motor mounts badly. The problem? She can't get them anywhere but the dealer. Anybody know of a place, online, or in California (more specifically SoCal) where motor mounts can be purchased at an affordable price? She's been quoted like $800 for them...

i dont think a car with a blower makes for a good daily driver... i'd keep the teg for daily driving, and whatever else you have for cruising

well I just bought my Ls from which most of you already know and I gotta say the littel bastard is peppy. since theres prelude seats in it it sits reeeeeal high but other then that the car is pretty awesome. So far Ive kicked the shit out of V6 mustangs, every Jbody I can think of a probe Gt, and 3000Gt base and one stock gsr off the line. The car I have has a cam in it, no ac, and I gutted the back seat and etc. out so, its running pretty damn strong for an ls engine.

and for fucks sake I looooooove this damn clutch in the car. Its so god damn easy to heal and toe, where as in the eclipse its a freakin biotch. after I drove the integra around for awhile I went back
and drove the eclipse and realized how shitty it drove honestly. The freal is freakin different. and the integra fn tucks in corners as the eclipse just plows into it and out. also the car seems to be a real pussy getter. all I have is an intake and its lowered to hell(which I hate and am gettin gchanged monday with diff coilovers) And Ive had 6 girls come up to me oooing and ahing a damn near stock but revvy sounding integ. All i have is exhaust and intake and they just flock. Im loving this car.

any auto parts store should have motor mounts for that car. I was quoted 120 for one for my 93 at advance auto, and I bought it at Napa for 68... so 800? yeah right... dealer only? no.

Bushing or just the mount?
Christ if it's just the bushing for 800 dollars you could get an energy suspension polyurethane bushing kit and a lot beer and other stuff.

I put the car up on jackstands for her the day after my post. The front motor mount is broken. Snapped in half. Severed. That'll need to be changed.

Also, her tranny won't upshift from 3-4. The car revs constantly at 70mph. But it is pretty peppy though!

I know mylog in name is Juiced Gsr, but i got rid of mine, i turboed it and sprayed it for a whole day at the track and it fucked up my piston rings, head gasket, stage two clutch, so i had to drive home on 3 cylinders. so i sold it for 6k. I bought a 89 5.0 GT, raced it for 3 months and now i'm selling the piece of shit. my GSR was faster than that 4k lbs monster. now i'm working on my new project, 01 Accord v6, so far i like the car.

somethign is wrong, integras arent loud unless somethgings been done to make them loud.

and I dont know about them 2nd gens, but I just totalled a 3rd gen, I hit a asphalt drivway as I was entering a culvert. Tagged that at 40-50, flipped end over end landed 50 feet ahead in the ditch and proceeded to roll it and came out without a scratch or bruise, not even a sore muscle. NOTHING. wear your belt and your fine(almost always at least, but you can die wearing your belt i anything if the wreck is bad enough).

My 95 is loud too. I put foam between the sheet metal and the interrior (not the audio sound dampening shit, too heavy) and it helped some.
I love my teg but would rather have a car I could drift. Anyone want to trade for a 240sx?

man, if u don't like ur integra, give it to me. my 92 teg has 152k and never once had anything gone wrong. for the price, this car is pretty unbeatable, not to mention it has more power than the usual civics out there. i just don't see why people are wasting so much money on newer cars that are inferior in quality and performance? also i noticed the brakes are very good compared to the other hondas i've driven. as some of u might know, recently my teg got hit from behind ruining my rear bumper and left side panel. i was considering of just selling my baby, but after some thinking, i ask myself y? this car is still runs perfectly well and i got some mods in it already. as long as this baby runs, im keep her, and 152 k is nothing, my friend gots a 91 with 320k miles with the same motor. how that for longevity?

yeah, theres no quesation that honda engines last if taken care of.

in my family there is a 3rd gen accord with 280k, a 4th gen accord with 235k, a crv with 145k, a 2.2Cl w/ 130k, (used to have a 5th gen civic w/ 185k), my tegs both had around 130k. my friends got a 4th gen civic with 201k. another with a 2nd gebn teg w/ 220k. everyone of these cars runs perfect still(or at least did before they got sold/totalled)

some of them dont have that many miles but I know alot of domestics that have fallen apart long before they ever hit 130k.

Ive had my Integra for almost a year, i love the car to death its small and quick, after 2nd its gone and its a stock, but ive ben in 4 accidents with it, and nothing is wrong with it, just couple of holes and thats about it...GOOD CAR

Integras kick ass, I don't see why you wouldn't love them! I have a Blue 99 GSR and it kicks serious ass I LOVE IT!!
