well i seem to have dug myself a deep hole.. i took the harmonic balancer off while i was dissasembling my engine to clean everything.. and i cant get it back on.. :uhoh: any suggestions?

take some sand paper to the crank and the inside of the harmonic balancer to clean everything up. tap it back on with a copper or lead hammer. also, you may want to change the balancer seal on the front of the timing chain cover

why dont you go rent a harmonic balencer installer. many parts stored rent tools. here we have auto zones, i dont know what you have there or how they work, but her you have to put a deposet down and then once you bring the tool back you get 100% of your deposit back. it doenst cost you anything unless you lose something or brake it.

mostly answered by brand loyalty, but if your already running MSD i would go with one of their products and keep it a matched system. whichever their customer service suggests for that distributor, your igniton, and engine stats.
