Hello all, I am new to this forum and would like to say hey, how are you. Anyway I am in the automotive repair industry and am looking for some info. I have a 1963 Ford Thuinderbird Limited Edition. I have been working on the body for a few months now and it is comming along pretty well. The only problem I have is with my mechanical abilities. The problem is I am not a mechanic and have no idea how to fix an engine. The engine in this 63 t-bird starts and runs, but doesn't run well. I am asking if anyone knows a place i can ship the engine with the transmission to or tow the entire car itself to have the engine looked at and rebuilt or repaired. Preferably somewhere near Baltimore, I am not looking to tow a car to California, because the tow bill would be larger than my yearly salary.

Thanks

Any Ford dealership should be able to look at it and tell you what is wrong.

I think the engine needs to be overhauled. I'd like to have it done over by someone other than a dealer. Everyone knows they charge an arm and a leg
