'93 Tahoe Tailgate lock removal

How do I take the old lock out and replace it with a working one? I have a mechainc book but what is picture is totaly different then what I have.
I tried removing the panel and than the metal plate but I still cannot get to the old lock. Oh and I don't have the instructions that came with the lock. Those got tossed. :banghead:

Fixed it! There were some screws I wasn't seeing. :rolleyes: :lol:
