i have a 95 GTP 3.4 DOHC, should i rebuild this port and polish the heads balance the crank and put nos in it or should i go with the L67 swap and get a supercharged 3.8 that id also rebuild and use NOS, both motors woruld be pretty stiff with forged rods and low compression pistons but which one should i do need to make up my mind so i can have the motor built while im at basic training. i see import tuners making crazy hp on over head cam engines so why wouldnt the 3.4 work too?
the 3.8 would definalty cost more plus ill be adding an aluminum radiator and a limit slip differential too with either choice.

I would go with the 3.8 before I put all that money into the 3.4. Just be sure to get the heavy duty transmission to go along whti the 3.8 so that you don't have problems later on.

I vote for the L32 swap! It might be a little more difficult and obviously more dinero but man that would be cool!

yeah holy crap that 650 hp L67 has me sold, i found a L67 in a supercharged regal i gonna try to get the junk yard to let my buy the whole car and then ill have eery thing i need but ill rebuild it before i put it and and go with low compression pistons because i still want to run NOS. i already have a 4T60E tranny that was rebuilt in february and its got a B&M shift kit and a huge hayden tranny cooler, every thing was new on the inside ony thing they kept was the housing, i also need to order a LSD i know ill need one with 300 hp, im shooting for 300 maybe 350 hp with the motor then the N0S on top of that, man people wont know what hit em with that much power in a 1995 GTP! cant wait, 3k for basic traning should get me a good start. while im gone the motor wil be yanked out of my car. poor old 3.4 131k miles havnt had any real problems except the tranny that blew up month after i got it and then i put new intake gaskets in thats about it. been pretty good actually. i was just trying to figure out how tuners make so much power with DOHC engines but i guess all of them are pretty much turbo so....
alright alright guys u got me sold on the L67!! :evillol:

Theres a fiero guy running a sc/turbo combo.
Only turbo GPs out there (97+) are the INTENSE car and NUline I believe. ZZP has talked bout it but havent heard anything bout it.

I know there are GP turbo/SC but have not seen any in person, at least I have been told. Are there any sites where I can see such a setup?

the way i see it turbos are too much to mess with, im going with a L67 swap into my 1995 in october when i come up with the money from basic training then im going to add NOS sure turbos make good power but i think there too much to mess with exhaust headers, waste gates all the piping id definalty have an intercooler just too much to work on. Im going with the supercharged L67 and NOS, that should be a good sleeper for a 1995 GTP going to take even the old badges off totally stock on the out side might even get some grand prix se badges :evillol: i hate hondas

i like the direction this project is going. just wanna know if your rebuilding the engine and stuffing it with all the goodies or just taking it straight from the donor into your car?

yeah im definalty building up the motor balanced crank, ported heads and exhaust, low compression pistions and forged rods, a friend of mine that i work with at machinewell builds engines so im going to have him do it, he went to collage for building engines. low compression pistons because i want to run NOS if i built a high compression engine it wouldnt last long. plus i plan on running a smaller puller and a intercooler for the supercharger if i can afford it, getting the L67 built-up and swapped in my 1995 is the top priority. then the NOS and other things will come in the near furure, NOS will prolly be ready when we install the engine. i think im going to use a Zex nos kit not sure on that yet either. getting every thing lined up now so when i leave for basic training in october my car can be tore apart and waiting the new engine.
