well after about a month of working on it, it is finally done. there are a few flaws. the doors are a shade lighter than the rest of the car and the body sits high on the chassis. but this was a learning experience, i think that all in all it turned out good.

here are the picks.

Nice Vette. I like the transplant, although it'd be a lot cooler supercharged I think......

Nice either way though.

cool. glad its done. as much as im not a mopar fan, this vette is pretty fly. good work, and how about dumping the v10 into AMT's dodge ram 50. they're pretty cheep, plus come with fender flares and factory body mods.

im a die hard chevy fan. just wanted to do something different. 86 SR5. i've got a ram vts as a side project im doing for my little brother. its the original ram concept truck with the V-10. i was kinda thinking some old mopar muscle with the twin turbo mill. not sure yet. i got to take care of some of these unfinished projects first haha.

looks godd;) but it cant be mutch room for that viper engine. it is verry tight with the v8 and with the v10 it must be verrrrry thight:P

i'll see what i can do for some better pics. the only digi cam i got is on my sprint phone so i am kinda limited. some of them turned out really good in the progress thread. the ones in this one kinda suck. i found the recipient of the other v-10 i got. i think im gonna get the 67? plymouth gtx. the 2 n 1 with the 426 hemi. i know i know. the hemi is awesome. but i want to make this similar to oakie modeler's pro touring cars. some big torque thrusts and stuff like that. modernize it.

Looks nice and clean.
I like how ya opened the trunk and filled it with some goodies.

Did you replace the rear-end with the Viper gear too?

I'm surprised the Viper transmission fit under the hood, as the Vette uses a transaxle.

yeah. i threw in the viper rear end. i was going to fab in a stock car rear end. but since the viper was IRS too it worked out really good. the only part of the motor that gave me problems was the exhaust and the back of the motor at the firewall. i had to completely cut away the front crossmember/motormount and use some styrene to hold hte motor in
