Does anyone know hoe fast a stock sr20det redtop is from 0-60 1/8 miles and 1/4 mile?

0-60 is around 6.1, 1/4mi is around 14.3 (with lsd). add an exhaust and downpipe, and you'd be hitting 13's already.

Not say that thats slow but the 0-60 is 6.1? Then the 1/4 mile is 14.3. Thats a alot of power/speed from 60 and up. It gains really fast after that huh?

you got it. 3rd and 4th pull like a motha, but there is tons of lag in 1st and 2nd.
to give you an idea, with my fmic and speed cut, i hit 140mph.... then i shifted to 5th ;)

LOL...awesome...so how fast can a 95-98 (S14) 240SX go with a like a S14 SR20DET? Do you have to get a speed cut controller too? Like from HKS one?
I trust that you when that fast but my question is how do you know that...i mean the 240's speedometers only go up to 110 or 120...something like that right? Did you buy a JDM one...if so...how did you hook that up and all?

the s14 sr20det's have the same gearing (i believe) as all the other sr20det's. i had a blitz ecu which knocked out the speed cut, but you can get the speed cut by either wiring the speed cut wire with a toggle switch or by cutting it altogether. i don't know which wire it is, you'll have to researce it.
when i hit 115 on the 89-90 tach, i was at about 5k in 4th. i took her all the way up to 7500 and the needle was bouncing off the bottom of the speedo. the only speedo which i know of that spits out actual mph up to 180mph is at http://lsauto.com/products.asp --- im definately getting this when my funds start balancing out :)
to hook it up you drop the steering column (two bolts right behind plastic covering) and then pull everything out and all the screws. either swap out the whole cluster or change just the needle (i did this in my current one because i want a 7.5k redline but don't want to read in kmph.
as far as how fast you can go, my one friend does topspeed runs in his high-hp 240, and he hit 187mph (no roll cage... what a freak :lol2: )

187... wow, can't help but wonder what that must feel like. Not to mention the balls hurting afterwards lol.

Cool...but i'm getting a S14...how will that work if it says for S13?
And it sounds awesome...but if you just "plug" it in then really it just shows more mph and the needle moves slower...but here is my question...how does/do you tell the ecu to let the needle move slower/faster just by pluging it in?

all the calibration is in the needle, not the ecu.
im not sure about s14 stuff..... at all :)
