Have 98 Rodeo that I replaced water pump and timing belt. that won't start turns over like it has no compression, also getting OBD II codes of P0107 and P0108 manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit high input/low input. Was getting a code of P0140 02 sensor circuit no activity detected (bank 1 sensor 2) before timing belt/water pump failure. Replaced the Map sensor. Haven't checked to see if its getting gas but did check to see that no. 1 plug was getting spark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I think my recent failure pump/belt was from not changing the T-belt tensioner from two years ago. Live and learn

Your valve timing is way off. I dont have a manual for this, but it will prolly have you set cyl #1 to TDC & properly align the belt marks with cam pulleys marks & crank pulley mark.

This is 4 cyl 2.2 liter, after it didn't start I took it back down and rechecked the cqm alignmet marks and crankshaft mark everything on the mark. Still no start?

If Your Original Timing Belt Broke
The Cyl. Head Is Going To Have To Come Off
You Have Bent Valves
(no Compression)

Sorry for the misunderstanding on the compression statement, I meant that it cranked over like it had no compression, I did'nt do a compression test to know for sure. I will be taking it apart after I get home from work to check the cam and crankshaft timing marks. I will let you know my findings, this has to be the only problem from keeping it from cranking.
