Main Relay Question

Ok, like so many others, I also have a main relay problem with my 92 accord ex. My question is, after replacing it (which I havent done but plan on) does a new one really completely fix the problem? I mean the car is still going to get hot as hell.... whats the difference? Are the replacements better and don't mess up when hot??

what happens is the relay heats up and cools down so over a period of time the expansion and contraction of the solder joints cause them to crack. the next time they heat up the joint looses contact with the board and thats when it fails.

What is the "main relay?" My Accord has a bunch of relays, but I don't know of a "main" one.

its for the fuel. its all by itself under the dash on the left of the steering column.
