Now isn't that just cold. You guys didn't even give him the option to explain. "No" closed.....There SHOULD be a flaming thread, where people can complain, "stress release" is subject to moderators shutting down threads, let people go! That banner idea sounds great. Maybe not banner, but not quite moderator. Somewhere in between. I looked up the referenced thread. Raz_Kaz and Jet-Lee had something going there. Maybe a "banner" is a little excessive, what about someone who can temporarily close a thread, for like a day or something, and notify a moderator for a review, then the moderator can make the final descision whether or not it should be closed. It certainly would end run-on threads like "Toilet".

Thank you, but some mods are too quick to close some threads and I'm lad some people liked my idea. It was never really developped or anything, just a suggestion, and one thing I would like to know is why hasnt anyone given me a reason to why it is not possible.

but anyways, all that banning and closing does is basically make you a mod. Id be happy if there wwas just a few more mods around during the middle of the day

I think that the banner should just have the ability of closing a thread down and reporting someone to be banned :dunno:

One of the other rules here are no opening a thread to talk about a locked thread.

Sorry guys - its not going to happen. The issue of not having a mod around is what the "report this post" feature is for.
