Hi, Guys.
I'm finally back after a long break for my studies. On the progress: I've painted the whole body with a camel yellow undercoat, and chrome yellow final (Top) coat. i think its one of my best paintjobs: nice and smooth, unlike my Ferrari 360 Modena with bumps and orange peel here and there!
BTW, i've also completed the interior and chassis. the interior is painted with Tamiya 'Light Sand'. IMO it looks like the beige in real cars! and its complete with Detail Master Pastel Peach flocking, and i followed the Italianhorses.net flocking tutorial. go check it out Alex has made many tutorials for Newbs like me! BTW, my paintjob was done following Alex's 'Perfect Paint' tut.
Now...for the pics

If i constantly refresh the page i get random pics :screwy: but anyways, it look very good.
Only the panel lines are a little to black for my taste.

Looks okay. I agree about the panel lines. The interior looks a bit crappy here and there. I don't really like the black lines in the seats. Maybe next time you should take the color of the seats, add a little black to it and then paint the lines. Might look a bit better  Further, nice puttywork, great color and awesome paintjob. Keep it up. :bigthumb:

To go easy on you. The panal lines are way to dark for the car. The seatbelt is stupid looking. There is good shine. The interior. What is there to say it is to crappy. Different colors and such.

Great yellow colour, but the black panel lines make it look crap and cartoony.

Geez, guys, you want to reign it in a little? Expressing opinions is great- it's part of why we're all here, but-
the black panel lines make it look crap and cartoony.
What is there to say it is to crappy. Different colors and such.
The interior looks a bit crappy here and there.
-comes off as a bit abusive. Maybe you all could build perfect models right from the start, but I certainly had my share of rough looking ones in the beginning. But this is hardly a way to encourage someone trying to get some experience. So you see room for improvement, you think you could do it better? Fine- you're welcome to say so. But calling another modelers work 'crappy' does not seem acceptable for this forum.
Another member here started a tyrade a week or two ago about bashing other people's work. Anybody else see it? Personally, I haven't seen alot of bashing here- but I'd say this definately qualifies. No matter what you may or may not think of someone elses work, there are better ways of saying it than this. Remember constructive critisim?

Notice i said that i liked the colour before criticising the panel lines, trying not to be so crtical. I dont mean to offend anyone but maybe they will notice the criticism and realise an area for improvement.

Good Paintjob. I have always had a tough time with yellow(I dont know why) and you got a perfect shine. The panel lines do stand out but can be fixed with some compound. Keep up the good work
