For all you GS-R owners out there, or people who know how to properly take off a emblem, do you know how to take off the DOHC VTEC emblem in a Integra? I don't want to mess up the paint or anything so yea. Oh yea, after taking it off what do you use to get the glue off? Thanx!

Some people swear by the use of a hair dryer to warm up the doublesided sticky tape under the VTEC logo before removal. I just used a piece of dental floss and slowly worked it down by moving it side to side. There was just a little residue remaining and you can use an adhesive remover. They can be picked up at your local pharmacy or Home Depot the most common one I think is Goo be gone or something like that. I just used an isopropyl alcohol pad and it removed the residue fine, washed the car and waxed it and it looks more balanced now that I put a GSR on the right hand side of the trunk- even with the Acura on the left.
To take off the Acura Emblem there are two posts and adhesive that hold it on. The posts are a comression type fitting that can be squeezed with some pliers with access from the trunk area. The front is a bit harder and requires the removal of the front. I just gently pried up the ends with dental floss and cut the plastic posts with a utility knife and left them in there. Then stuck some Red Type-R Logos that go well with the GSR logo that has a bit of red in it as well. It is nice having the solid logos because wax tends to get stuck in the plastic/chrome ones and it looks better too...
