probably because since it's the leading Mp3 player, and a lot of people either have one or want one, then they also want to listen to their music in their car...seems can't listen to it any other way while driving :dunno:

It's the future of music. It's kind of like asking 10 years ago, why makers were fitting CD players to cars.

i have mine hooked up to my truck through rca cables and right now i have about 5 and a half days of music on it. (thats only a quarter of how many songs i can put on it). its great! no cd's to mess with.

Definitely. As soon as someone hears "40Gb hard drive" then thier money goes straight to Apple, instead of Sony etc.
