Customizing Question

I am looking to put paint some things on my dashboard blue and my dashboard is black. Also, i want to paint the area under my dashboard silver. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what kind of paint i can use on it and where i can buy it. If you have any ideas that i should do to my eclipse just send me a reply.

a friend of mine does air brushing, i cant remember the kind of paint he uses but he does give it a few coats of clear to protect it.

So put clear coat on the black before i put the blue on it?

heheheh no ... you first sand the piece you are paintin with a gray or red scotch bright... then you use a tack rag and get all the dust off... then paint the desired color... base coat (the first coat) should be very light... then put a second coat to complete the paint ... then you can clear it so it is shiney and protected....

the clear helps it so the paint doesnt wear off and you can clean your dash with out wearing off the paint. and it makes it shiney!

thefro can you ask your friend what kind of paint i should use on my dash?

why would you want to "honda" a good DSM?

i think that if you dont go over board and just use it to accent the car looks its good. I will see if I can get a hold of him tomorrow.

I am just putting a big mitsubishi where the passanger air bag. And a few small ones where other options are suppose to be. and i am going to paint the letters on my steering wheel and the passanger air bag thing.

I am looking to put leather seats in my car and i was wondering if leather seats out of a 1997-1999 Sebring will fit in an eclipse. Cuz the inside of them are the exact same as the eclipse.
