I used to be a huge gamer. Dunno what happened the last few years. Now I have no idea what the goods are. Anyone here who's still in the scene wanna give me some ideas? Post up a review of your favourite games with a bit of info about it.

Check out www.ign.com They have all the best reviews on every system. Also are you asking about PC games??? If you are then I would check out Rise of Nations if you are into Real Time Strategy games.

IL2 Forgotten Battles.

It's set on the Eastern Front of WW2, you can play as either the Ruskies, Gerrys, Finns or Hungarians on two fronts (being Finland and Russia).

You can fly throughout the whole war, upgrading to newer model A/C as the war progresses.

Ultra realistic, realistic gunnery, flight model, et el.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein - too short and easy
Unreal Tournement 2004 - Cool
Warcraft III + Frozen Throne addon - addictive
Sacred - Just came out in march, great new RPG
Arcanum - RPG with a twist, be a gun toting mage
Chaser - Decent FPS
Soldier of Fortune 2 - awesome
Neverwinter Nights Gold - To many options to list

and the oldies but goodies
Starcraft w/ broodwars- highly addictive
Diablo2 w/ LOD addon - still highly played over the net.

I like FPS and racing simulators. I like something that's a bit of a challenge, but is easy to sit down and play (don't wanna read a 19 page manual just to work out controls).

Don't have a really top end PC, but it's OK. 1.8ghz, 512 DDR RAM, GeForce4, SB Live.

you can try return to castle wolfenstien. the graphics and sheer mind boggling, and if you put it on the highest difficulty, you cant use cheat codes, and I played it alot, and I still have trouble getting past the 4th level :)
