add more speed

how can I add some more speed or horse power to my non turbo mr2 1987 with 215k miles without failing the smog test@test only station. I only install ngk sparkplug wires and bosch 4 prong spark plugs and K&N Filter.

Take weight off of the car ... makes you faster and does not affect smog at all ;)

exhaust? basic bolt ons. or u could build up the engine and get it tuned that way u would still pass, hopefully.

he lives in cali. We also have visual. You can not really do anything engine wise LEGAL to the car.

But you might want to try getting a 4AGZE motor. That is a big step up from the NA and you can go to the ref and get it badged as a supercharged vehicle. :)

the ref is a state certified smog check that goes through your car to make sure you are legal and smogs your car. If everything passes you can get your car badged as a supercharged MKI. :)
