If I were you I would get the Jag. It sounds like you really want it. Remember to build for yourself. There is always other times for other build(mini ect....)

like vric said, you can get the revell mini for cheaper... and it'd prolly be easier to build... get the jag :)

The Jag is a really nice kit, not to difficult to build. In fact one of thoose was my first entrance in model contest...it took me all the way up to the top and was a great start into the contest world. The Cooper, although a nice subject is a much simpler kit that lacks engine detail. I'd go for the Jag, just the looks of it should be enough to make up your mind.

Tamiya Jaguar XJ220---> not so easy to find. (out of production to my knowledge)
Mini ---> this fujimi kit is "new" should be available longer.

I'll go for the Jaguar I let it pass before and I can't get over it yet LOL

I would never have known that it was out of stock. My LHS has like five of them!
