02 seirra distributor corroded twice

Hi, my 4.3 liter has gone thhrough 2 distributor caps, 1 at 24k and at 40k
dealership said water was causing corrosion and the last one looked like it was burned through. Theres a remote start with 1 wire going to the tach at the coil. Remote people say it won't cause that damage.
Any ideas, thoughts or links would be apprciated; Thank You.

I think there is a TSB about an A/C line that runs close to the distributor and drips condensation onto the cap. The fix(supposedly) is to put some extra insulation on the A/C line
