im trying to find the ecu in my 92 240sx. I looked up in the services manual, it dosen't really give me the exact picture where it is. Can anyone tell me where is it and where to look for?

Im guessing it under the engine?

It is behind the interior panel on the passenger side of the car. you will have to remove the plastic panel next to your feet on the door side. The computer is held in by two screws... one on top and one on the bottom. If you are trying to read engine codes, the ECU is mounted backwards so you will have to un-bolt it and turn it toward you to read the codes. I just had to do this when I was trying to figure out why my car wasn't passing smog. Need any more help just let me know!

no, but you can't miss it, after you remove the plastic panel it's the only thing you see.

www.240sx.org has the codes I think. If not, search the forum(s).

it is where the passenger side kick panel is. The fsm should show you a picture as well where it is located. Believed me I saw the picture.
