Hello,
I recently changed the lower intake gasket on my blazer due to it leaking the junk DEXCOL. I had to take the distributor out and when I put it back together it won't start, it is way out of time. I have tried nermourous time to set it but can't get it. I've done everything like putting #1 cylinder on TDC lining up the rotor with the #1 cylinder on the cap and it just cranks over and fouls out the plugs. the engine is the 4.3 lt.

try turning the crank untill the rotor goes around 1 full turn and try it you might have it 180 degrees out which is very easy to do
